प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने IIT दिल्ली में छात्रों और युवा प्रतिभाओं से तेजी से बदलती दुनिया के साथ लगातार सीखने और खुद को update करने की अपील की। उनका संदेश ऐसे समय आया है जब Artificial Intelligence, automation और emerging technologies higher education और employment के traditional models को तेजी से बदल रहे हैं।

IIT दिल्ली पहले से interdisciplinary education, AI और experiential learning पर जोर बढ़ा रहा है। संस्थान ने 2026 में academic flexibility, cross-disciplinary learning और industry exposure को अपनी शिक्षा रणनीति का अहम हिस्सा बनाया है।

बदलती technology के साथ सीखना जरूरी

प्रधानमंत्री का मुख्य संदेश learning continuity से जुड़ा रहा। उनका तर्क है कि technology और global economy इतनी तेजी से बदल रही है कि एक बार हासिल की गई knowledge लंबे समय तक पर्याप्त नहीं रहती।

इसका अर्थ केवल नई degree हासिल करना नहीं है। Skills को लगातार update करना, नए tools सीखना और बदलते professional environment के साथ adapt करना higher education की नई जरूरत बन गया है।

यह बदलाव खास तौर पर AI के दौर में महत्वपूर्ण है।

IIT दिल्ली में AI पर बढ़ता जोर

IIT दिल्ली ने AI को केवल एक standalone specialization की तरह देखने के बजाय कई disciplines में foundational skill के रूप में integrate करने की दिशा अपनाई है। संस्थान में Cognitive Sciences जैसे interdisciplinary programmes भी इसी approach का हिस्सा हैं।

AI, healthcare, robotics, transportation और materials science जैसे क्षेत्रों में interdisciplinary research की जरूरत बढ़ रही है। इससे traditional engineering education के साथ humanities, biological sciences और management जैसे क्षेत्रों का interaction भी महत्वपूर्ण हो रहा है।

Degree से आगे skills की जरूरत

आज के job market में degree के साथ practical skills की मांग बढ़ रही है। Industry ऐसे graduates चाहती है जो technology को समझने के साथ real-world problems पर काम कर सकें।

IIT दिल्ली ने experiential learning को मजबूत करने के लिए internships और industry exposure पर भी जोर दिया है। Institute के academic changes में students को interdisciplinary electives और customised minors जैसी flexibility देने की दिशा शामिल है।

इससे higher education का focus केवल examination और degree completion से हटकर application-oriented learning की तरफ बढ़ता है।

AI से बदल रहा रोजगार का ढांचा

AI ने कई professional sectors में productivity बढ़ाने की क्षमता दिखाई है। लेकिन इसके साथ routine tasks के automation और कुछ job roles के बदलने की चिंता भी बढ़ी है।

ऐसे माहौल में students के लिए analytical thinking, communication, problem-solving और domain knowledge का combination महत्वपूर्ण हो जाता है।

AI tools का इस्तेमाल सीखना जरूरी है, लेकिन केवल tool operation पर्याप्त नहीं होगा। Technology का सही उपयोग करने के लिए subject knowledge और critical judgement भी जरूरी रहेगा।

Innovation पर जोर

IIT दिल्ली जैसे संस्थानों से केवल नौकरी के लिए तैयार graduates की अपेक्षा नहीं की जाती। Research, startups और technology innovation भी higher education के महत्वपूर्ण outcomes हैं।

Institute में students को early-stage side projects और entrepreneurial thinking की तरफ प्रोत्साहित करने की चर्चा भी सामने आई है। इसका उद्देश्य students को risk-taking, experimentation और problem-solving के practical environment से जोड़ना है।

यह approach भारत के startup और innovation ecosystem के लिए महत्वपूर्ण हो सकती है।

Industry और academia का रिश्ता

भारत की higher education policy में industry-academia collaboration को लगातार महत्व दिया जा रहा है। इसका उद्देश्य education और employment के बीच skill gap को कम करना है।

प्रधानमंत्री पहले भी इस बात पर जोर दे चुके हैं कि educational institutions और industries को एक-दूसरे की जरूरतों को समझना चाहिए और students को practical learning के अवसर देने चाहिए।

इसका सीधा संबंध employability से है।

भारत के लिए इसका महत्व

भारत की युवा आबादी को global economy में प्रतिस्पर्धा करने के लिए high-quality skills की जरूरत है। Technology, semiconductor, AI, space, defence, healthcare और green energy जैसे sectors में skilled workforce की मांग बढ़ रही है।

सरकार ने पिछले वर्षों में skill development, ITI upgrades और Centres of Excellence जैसे initiatives पर जोर दिया है। प्रधानमंत्री ने भी education और skill development को economic growth से जोड़ने की बात कही है।

लेकिन skill programmes की सफलता केवल enrolment numbers से नहीं मापी जानी चाहिए। रोजगार, income growth और industry outcomes भी महत्वपूर्ण indicators हैं।

Students के सामने नई चुनौती

आज के students के लिए सबसे बड़ी चुनौती information की कमी नहीं है। Internet और AI tools ने information access को आसान बना दिया है।

चुनौती है सही information की पहचान, उसका analysis और practical application। इसी वजह से critical thinking और fact-checking जैसे skills की भूमिका बढ़ रही है।

Students को यह समझना होगा कि AI-generated information भी verification मांगती है।

शिक्षा व्यवस्था में बदलाव

IIT दिल्ली में हो रहे academic changes broader higher education trend को भी दिखाते हैं। Traditional disciplinary boundaries धीरे-धीरे कमजोर हो रही हैं।

Engineering student को AI के साथ ethics और policy समझने की जरूरत हो सकती है। Healthcare technology में engineering और biology का combination जरूरी हो सकता है। Climate solutions में technology के साथ economics और public policy भी अहम होंगे।

इसलिए future education अधिक interdisciplinary होने की दिशा में बढ़ रही है।

रोजगार और economy पर असर

अगर higher education industry needs के साथ बेहतर तरीके से जुड़ती है तो graduate employability बढ़ सकती है। इससे companies को skilled workforce और students को better career opportunities मिल सकती हैं।

लेकिन केवल curriculum बदलने से रोजगार की समस्या हल नहीं होगी। Quality faculty, research funding, internships, industry partnerships और regional access भी जरूरी होंगे।

इसलिए education reform एक long-term process है।

भविष्य की तैयारी

प्रधानमंत्री का learning-focused संदेश मूल रूप से adaptability पर केंद्रित है। Technology में बदलाव की गति देखते हुए students को एक career के बजाय lifelong learning mindset अपनाना होगा।

यह approach केवल IIT students के लिए नहीं है। Digital economy में लगभग हर professional sector लगातार बदल रहा है।

इसलिए learning को degree के बाद खत्म होने वाली प्रक्रिया मानना अब practical नहीं है।
